Eye of Sauron

The Sunshine Canyon fire in Boulder, CO happened on the early morning of March 19, 2017, during "the snowiest month of the year," according to many a local. There were "red flag" warnings prior to this fire, and rumors spoke of campers on the edge of town as the cause. Climate change has altered Colorado's winters to the point that red flag warning days happen throughout the year, no matter the season.

Clouds of smoke from higher on the ridge cause this passing-moment peep hole into the burning forest within. Very Eye of Sauron... gazing on the forest to be burned.
